We cover Weymouth and Portland, Purbeck and Dorchester localities.
Darwin Care Ltd has been operational since 2002 and is fully established in the Weymouth and Portland locality. We have built on our core service by expanding into Dorchester and the Purbeck areas. Through the years we have been able to grow organically and now support a number of Customers and employ over 45 staff (Full, Part, Bank and Volunteer basis).
Since the end of 2012 Darwin Care Ltd has been able to make great steps forward with our internal structure and organisational efficiency which has allowed us to achieve our fundamental objective of providing high quality services to all our customers.
Since the end of 2012 we have journeyed through varied transitions with regards to our managerial structure. This has allowed us to develop a much more viable and formulated leadership approach that see’s Alex Goff as Service Manager / Director, Andy and Julie Reynolds as Director/Owners who both take a more informal role but still provide invaluable quality assurance feedback. Alex fulfills the Service Manager and Director role which in summary consists of ensuring the efficient and effective management and running of the whole organisation. To support Alex in senior duties he has Sam Argent as Support Manager, she oversees the allocated Locality Team Leaders who work from various supported accommodations. Currently our administrative and Human Resources support is incorporated within the senior management structure.
Throughout Darwin Care Ltd’s journey within the Health and Social Care Sector we have gained a variety skills and knowledge from working with many Customers including working with those individuals who have; challenging behaviours, Mild and more severe Learning Disabilities, Autism, Epilepsy and those with Sensory Impairments. Working with individuals is very rewarding and Darwin Care Ltd as a whole have developed and refined our Interpersonal skills, Communication, Dealing with difficult situations, in addition to the day to day continual improvement in the management of our accommodation and outreach support, ultimately maintaining Support Standards and offering the best quality service possible to our customers.

To support the Management Team we have our core staffing group who are the backbone of Darwin Care Ltd, their qualifications range from Diploma Care in Level 2 through to Diploma in Care Level 3, with Team Leaders Diploma 3 ILM management. Our Support Workers deliver high standards of support to our Customer groups.
